    I make a lot of silly design decisions and lose a lot of sleep as an architortue major. On my free time, I enjoy performing middle eastern dance and recently, DJing for KTUH 90.3 FM every Wed night/Thurs morning midnight to 3am. In real life, I'm a fairly introverted and private being.     so guess what, folks? i finally became an active dj a few weeks ago for KTUH 90.3 FM (university of hawaii college radio) after a summer of training! right now, i’m on probation, meaning that once a week, i play in a 3-6am slot (when hardly any one is up and listening to the radio so i can mess up with less consequences heheh) for eight weeks, then hopefully i’ll get a decent time slot. typically, i spin within the electronic genre (trip-hop, downtempo, idm, dance, blahhh) but i also dig into other genres and whatever else i think sounds ‘good’ :3

    My brother graduated from Punahou this past Saturday, and his shout-out to me in his yearbook went like this: ”You’re an awesome something, dear sister. I’ll stop before I get too cheesy.” Haha.  I was planning on tagging along with him when he goes off to New York in August, but because the dates conflict with my classes, I’ll have to wait till winter break now (ㅠㅅㅠ). Anyway, congrats, bro!

    finally, after two years, a new layout.

    FINALLY GETTING AROUND TO POSTING ON TUMBLR.  the object above is 1/3 of the reason i’ve been M.I.A. on tumblr. architecture final projects have been consuming my life! for this project, we had to utilize the 3D printer and create a model on rhino3D that represented movement. i chose to represent a blink. obv, the movement of a blink was not too apparent, so i had to emphasize the word ‘abstraction’ during my presentation. hahah.  the other two projects are another story. holy fuck do i HATE group projects with a passion. we had to design a shaded seating device and a bus stop. i won’t get into it, but there was drama all around. pulled a few all-nighters last week, too. all spaced out, of course! i did make some new friends, though. that’s always a good thing, right? i think it’s time someone does an architecture major meme…

This time, back in Hawaii, nothing of that sort happened and we were up front dancing (like fools) n___nb Both times were so much fun, but I wish the show could’ve gone till 5am like in Tokyo. Damn you, Hawaii, for always ending things so early. Anyway, do the Astral Plane!
